Turmeric and garlic chicken

The turmeric garlic poulet is not only a treat for the mouth, but also a color and taste experience. The turmeric gives the chicken an intense flavor, while the garlic and almonds provide a delicious texture and aroma. Together with a hint of lime and the freshness of the coriander, this dish is a real explosion of flavor. Perfect for a casual dinner or as an impressive main course for guests - the turmeric garlic chicken is guaranteed to impress!

What you need:

  • 2 limes
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp ground peeled almonds
  • 2 tsp 1001 Organic turmeric powder 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 chicken breasts 
  • 150 ml cream
  • ½ bunch of coriander


    Instructions:


    Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Finely grate the zest from the limes and squeeze in the garlic. Add 2/3 of the almonds, turmeric, salt and oil and mix everything into a seasoning paste. Cut the chicken breast fillets in half and place in the turmeric paste so that all the pieces are covered evenly. Then place the marinated fillets in an ovenproof dish and pour the cream over them. Cook in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. In the meantime, finely chop the coriander and mix with the remaining almonds. Sprinkle this mixture over the finished chicken just before serving. Basmati rice is recommended as a side dish.
