A dream from 1001 nights - our Zanzibar Spice Milk with mace. Ideal for anyone who fancies something new and longs for a soothing break. Refreshingly hot or iced - a delight for all the senses!
What you need:
- 500 ml milk - alternatively coconut milk)
- 2 mace (mace)
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp honey or coconut blossom sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 pinch of black pepper
Steps:
Slowly heat the milk together with the mace, cinnamon, cardamom and pepper. Make sure that the milk does not boil.
Set aside and allow to infuse for 10 minutes and stir in the honey and vanilla.
Pour the mixture through a sieve and serve hot or cold.
Tip:
